Too Pretty to Be Lemonade? – Meet the Blue Matcha Raspberry Fizz

Bright, fizzy and beautifully layered, this Blue Matcha Lemonade brings together tart lemon, sweet raspberry and vibrant Nebula Herbal Blue Matcha in one refreshing glass.

The raspberry gives the lemonade a soft pink base, while the Blue Matcha creates a deep blue-purple layer on top. As the two begin to mix, the colour shifts naturally through shades of violet and pink, making the drink almost as fun to watch as it is to sip.

Ingredients

For the drink (one serving)

  • 4–5 g Nebula Herbal Blue Matcha
  • 15–20 ml raspberry syrup
  • 20–25 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 10–15 ml sugar syrup, or to taste
  • 150–180 ml sparkling water
  • 25–30 ml water, for preparing the Blue Matcha
  • 1 cup ice

Optional

  • Fresh lemon slice for garnish

  • Fresh raspberries for garnish

Method

Step 1 – Start with the raspberry

Pour 15–20 ml raspberry syrup into the bottom of your serving glass. Add the fresh lemon juice and gently stir the two together. This creates the fruity, slightly tart base of the lemonade.

Step 2 – Add the sweetness

Pour in 10–15 ml sugar syrup.
You can adjust this depending on how sweet your raspberry syrup is and how tart you like your lemonade.

Give everything a gentle stir.

Step 3 – Add the ice

Fill the glass generously with ice. Using plenty of ice helps keep the layers more defined when the Blue Matcha is poured on top.

Step 4 – Build the sparkling lemonade

Slowly pour in 150–180 ml sparkling water.
Stir gently once or twice so the raspberry, lemon and sugar syrup combine without losing too much carbonation.
At this stage, you should have a bright pink-red sparkling lemonade.

Step 5 – Prepare the Blue Matcha

Add 4–5 g Nebula Herbal Blue Matcha to a small bowl or cup. Pour in around 25–30 ml water and whisk until smooth and completely combined.

You want the mixture concentrated enough to give the drink a strong blue layer.

Step 6 – Create the Blue Matcha layer

Slowly pour the prepared Blue Matcha over the back of a spoon or directly over the ice at the top of the glass.

Pouring slowly helps the Blue Matcha sit above the raspberry lemonade before gradually blending into it. You should see a beautiful transition from pink at the bottom to violet and deep blue towards the top.

Step 7 – Finish and serve

Add a thin lemon slice or a few fresh raspberries if you want a simple garnish. Serve immediately while the drink is still cold and sparkling. Give it a gentle stir before drinking if you want the flavours fully combined.

Why Raspberry, Lemon & Blue Matcha Work So Well

Raspberry brings sweetness and a slightly tart berry flavour, while lemon adds the sharp citrus freshness you expect from a classic lemonade. Sparkling water keeps everything light and refreshing, while Blue Matcha adds its distinctive colour and botanical character without making the drink feel heavy.
The result is fruity, citrusy, bubbly and incredibly refreshing.
